Gourlay 02 Family Tartan Quilt

My Maiden name was Carol Gourlay. Since the age of twelve years,, I’ve desired a piece of clothing or anything in Gourlay tartan. My mother searched the city of Auckland at the time, to accommodate me, to no avail. At almost eighty years old, I suddenly saw this Gourlay tartan ‘Rug’’ and ordered it immediately. Today, what looks like an off-cut of Lightweight Tartan cloth backed with plain white material and sewn and sort of quilted in WHITE thread, arrived. It wouldn’t keep my cat warm, it looks as though it was made in a third world country, it certainly wasn’t reasonably priced and when I opened my parcel I just wanted to cry. Buyer beware!!
