Stewart of Appin Crest Washed Classic Cap

Loved the hat ———but very disappointed in the crest. I thought it was a woven crest and it was only an applied plastic thing . The hat will last but the crest will not! It’s a Christmas gift so I’m not as excited to give it as I was. Maybe I read it wrong so it might be on me .

A gift for a friend of Stewart of Appin heritage. I'm pleased with the quality of the cap, especially the reinforced brim that holds the curve of its shape. The applique of the coat of arms is attractive; buyers should note, however, that it is not an embroidered item in case that's what they were anticipating. Also, the vent holes in the top are actually sewn to appear that way; they are not open. Perhaps both of these notes were mentioned in the description on the website; I do not recall. Neither detracts from the cap, though. I'm sure my friend will be very pleased with this.
